SHIPPING POLICY

Standard shipping of our safes, tool chests and furniture products is via common carrier, curbside delivery.  

 

Delivery is available to the contiguous United States. Please allow additional lead time for deliveries outside the contiguous United States. Signature is required at time of delivery. The common carrier will call to set up a 4-hour delivery window. If a delivery is attempted and the site varies from the information disclosed at time of order, additional charges may apply. For custom products, the estimated delivery will be approximately 20 weeks from the date of order. Certain products may be in-stock and could ship faster.  

 

The shipping rates for our products are weight-based and can be found on our website under each individual product page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies used, all weights are rounded up to the next full pound.

 

***IMPORTANT***IF YOUR PRODUCT IS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING:

 

You may either accept the product AS-IS or refuse it and wait for a replacement product. The common carrier will return the product to Rhino Metals, Inc. free of charge if refused. Please call our Customer Service department immediately if you refuse the shipment and to notify us if you want a replacement. There will be no cost to you for the shipment of the replacent product.

 

If you accept the product AS-IS, you are accepting the damaged product and releasing the common carrier of liability.  By noting damage on the Delivery Receipt, you would be eligible to file a claim against the common carrier for the damages.  Rhino Metals, Inc. will not refund a portion of your purchase price for damages incurred in transit.  If the product is accepted without damage notated, you lose all claims to the damage and you will not be eligible to return the product at a later date for damage without incurring additional charges for the return freight, handling, and restocking. 

 

Standard shipping of our apparel and accessory products is via USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL or similar.  Estimated delivery time will be approximately 10 business days from receipt of order.

RETURN POLICY

Our safes, toolchest and furniture products can be returned if not satisfied for a refund of the original purchase price within 45 days from the original date of shipment. A product originally ordered with customized color options are final and are not eligible for a return.  A 20% restocking fee for a products return will apply. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable as well as any in-home delivery service options.

 

We will accept a return only on products purchased directly through us by phone, sponsored event, or from rhinosafe.com. For products purchased directly from a Rhino Metals, Inc. authorized dealer, the authorized dealer's return policy applies and you must contact them directly for further information and assistance.

 

Products being returned must be unused, unassembled, and returned in the original packaging. Returned products must be packaged in the original (or equivalent) packaging to prevent damage under typical freight handling methods.  Packaging must include, at a minimum, the following: plastic bag or shrink-wrap (foam wrap for gloss exterior finishes) around the entire product to prevent rubbing, followed by styrofoam to protect the lock, handles/hub and hinges, and shrouding the entire product in double-wall cardboard.  Failure to properly package a product for a return will result in a charge-back for damages incurred.

 

A refund for the original purchase price of the product, less the restocking fee and both original and return shipping costs and any incurred in-home delivery service, will be processed back to the original form of payment within 10 business days after receiving the returned product. Products must be received by us within 45 days from the original date of shipment and must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip and Return Authorization (RA) number to complete the return.  No refund will be given on products returned after 45 days of the original date of shipment.  If the original form of payment is no longer active, we will send a check within 30 days. 

 

For a return on our apparel, accessories or after-market add-on items, we will accept a return if the item is still in the original condition and packaging.  You will be responsible for the return shipping costs but no restocking fee will be accessed on these items. A refund, less the original shipping costs, will be issued upon receipt of the items within 14 days from the original shipment.  Once the items have been received by us, a quality check will be performed and if returned based on the above direction and in good condition, a refund for the original purchase price of the items, less the original shipping costs, will be processed back to the original form of payment within 10 business days.  If the original form of payment is no longer active, we will send a check within 30 days.
